Our wine labels “Aspros Lagos” white and red mean a lot to all of us at Douloufakis winery, since they embody the ultimate challenges encountered in the vineyards and in the winery. The grapes are selected from the best parts of the privately owned, homonymous vineyard located in Dafnes, Heraklion at an altitude of 350-450 meters and they are the top expression of this unique terroir.

Aspros Lagos White, the new vintage 2023, has just been released.
It represents all our faith in the great Cretan indigenous variety Vidiano. The fermentation in acacia and oak barrels transfuses complexity of honey, vanilla and chestnut overtones to the existing exotic, yellow fruits wine character, resulting to a super-dense plethoric body, yet not lacking any sense of coolness and vitality.
